Falcons Speedster Naveen Negi did scare Tigers batting line up by picking 3 quick wickets in his opening spell. As a result, Tigers were 20 for 3 in the first 5 overs. It was rearguard action and 50 run partnership from Sabaorish (42) and Rahul Koul (16) that ensured the team is steered towards a respectable total. Lower order batsmen and Swapnil Chaurasia had a useful contribution to post a competitive total of 152 onboard. Pacer Naveen Negi and spinner Ankit Chawla picked 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

Earlier in the day, Tigers Captain won the toss and elected to bat first. The bowlers enjoyed a lot of assistance from the wicket and the batsman struggled to score.

Both opening bowling pair of Swapnil and Puneet produced one of the best opening spells to reduce Falcons to 9 for 4 after 6 overs. As a result, Falcons did not recover and middle and lower order lacked application part to build partnerships. In the end, Falcons were all out on 85runs handing Tigers 65 run win.
