As the place for Japan Cricket League division 1 Semifinal, was getting intense at Sano3, Wyverns and Falcons met at Sano1 for the last league game with a calmer intent. Tokyo Falcons already confirmed their spot in the semifinal and winning here will further boost their confidence.

Wyverns have the firepower to upset any team on the day. Wyverns Cricket Club 1st XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Shogo Kimura led the batting with patient 85 runs of 109 balls and lasted till the 34th over of the inning. With all key batter playing their part, Wyverns could post a competitive 211 runs on the board.

Chasing 212, Falcons had a disastrous start. In the first 10 overs score read 5/50. Here enters the hard hitter Safraz Petkar. He particularly took a liking to Wyverns spinners dispatching them for 8 monstrous sixes to single-handedly win the game. Safraz Petkar made 115runs of 85balls ( 4×11, 6×8).

Raheel Kano of Wyverns XI took a beating as he bowled one of the expensive spells of the season. 8-1-80-1. In the Japan Cricket League Division 1 Semi-final, Falcons will meet Tigers XI on 21 Nov 2021 at Sano3.
